BTS Announces “Largest” World Tour Ever  Global Comeback After Four-Year Hiatus



Global K-pop superstars BTS have officially announced the launch of their biggest world tour to date, marking their return to the live stage after a nearly four-year break during which all seven members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service. 

The BTS World Tour  set to span 79 shows across 34 regions  kicks off on April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea and will run through March 2027, covering major cities across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia.


 A Historic Return for BTS

All seven members of BTS  RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook  have completed their military duties, paving the way for this full-scale reunion tour. The group will also release a new studio album on March 20, 2026, their first collective project since 2022, ahead of the tour’s launch. 

Promoted as their largest and most ambitious tour yet, the world trek is expected to be one of the biggest live music events of 2026 and a defining moment in the band’s storied career. Concert promoter Live Nation dubbed it the “biggest global K-pop tour of all time.”


Massive Scale and Global Reach

The tour itinerary  already boasting dozens of confirmed dates  features multiple stadium and arena stops in key markets:

Asia: Opening shows in Goyang and Busan (South Korea), followed by Tokyo and more.

North America: Multiple-night engagements in cities including Tampa, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, East Rutherford and Arlington, where BTS will play two nights at AT&T Stadium. 

Europe: Stops in major cities such as London, Madrid, Brussels, Munich and Paris. 

Latin America & Australia: Dates in Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and later 2027 shows in Melbourne and Sydney. 

The production will feature cutting-edge staging, including a 360-degree “in-the-round” design to maximize fan engagement and capacity at stadium venues. 


Fan Frenzy and Ticket Info

Anticipation for the tour has already ignited BTS’s devoted global fanbase  the ARMY  with presales exclusively for Weverse fanclub members beginning January 22–23, 2026, followed by general ticket sales on January 24.

Social media has been flooded with excitement, as fans plan travel and share reactions to the group’s long-awaited return to the stage. Many expected high demand given the tour’s scale and BTS’s status as one of the world’s most influential pop acts.
